Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Application Engineer to support validation and verification of our AI-driven imaging and diagnostic systems. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of algorithm outputs and annotated datasets, as well as supporting the development of test and verification methodologies across the system. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.
Requirements:
Review and manage image datasets delivered by third-party data annotation teams to ensure quality and consistency with internal guidelines
Analyze and validate algorithm outputs, identifying discrepancies, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with computer vision and software engineers to report findings and support iterative algorithm development
Define and implement testing and verification procedures for system-wide algorithm performance
Develop tools, scripts, or workflows to assist with dataset validation and result analysis
Mange data collected from clinical trials and deployed systems
Document validation processes, findings, and performance metrics for internal reporting and development tracking
Work with R&D teams to improve annotation standards, testing methodologies, and dataset quality
Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
Experience working with Python, Matlab or similar scripting languages for data analysis
Ability to analyze results, identify patterns or anomalies, and clearly communicate findings
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
Fluent in Hebrew and English
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with image annotation or segmentation datasets
Familiarity with computer vision workflows or machine learning evaluation metrics
Experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing tools for visual inspection and annotation review
Exposure to AI model validation, dataset quality assurance, or testing methodologies
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and DVC or experiment tracking platforms like MLflow
